HP Indigo has developed an upgraded fleet of digital presses for label and package printing, designed to improve the capability and efficiency of companies utilising its LEP technology.
Meteor Inkjet has developed a new scalable industrial inkjet RIP, eLab Pro, which is claimed to, ‘take digital printing of labels, packaging and books to a new level.’
Xeikon has developed CX300, a new digital label press based on the next generation of its Cheetah dry toner technology. The Xeikon CX300 is a 330mm-wide label press that can offer production capacity of over 50,000sqm a month in single-shift operation.
Danish finishing specialist Grafisk Maskinfabrik (GM) has developed a new coater for adding a high-quality coating to printed products. Principally developed with processing of photo papers in mind, the GM Photo Coater can also be used to finish labels, stickers and other roll-fed products.
The new Tresu iCoat II delivers high-end coating opportunities for digital printing using industry-standard UV or water-based varnish in a single production pass and is capable of applying spot, partial or full surface coating immediately after the printing stage.
