Several members of Domino’s Digital Printing Solutions (DPS) division are celebrating milestones with the business.

Currently at its 40th anniversary, the company recognises performance and success of staff through its ‘Double Five Club’. At a dinner recently held at The Guildhall in Cambridge, Nigel Bond, chief executive officer, proudly presented awards to 49 employees.

Steve Taylor, UK business manager for DPS, was one of the longest serving, receiving his award for 30 years’ continuous service. He started out as an internal sales representative for Domino’s coding and marking division.

Mr Taylor said, ‘When I joined Domino, I had no idea that I would spend so much of my working life at one company. Commitment and loyalty is appreciated and recognised, and staff are actively encouraged to develop their careers within the business – I am testament to this.’

Steve Westwood, UK sales manager for monochrome printing solutions, celebrated 20 years’ service, while Martin Rimsky, DPS print samples technician, and Carl Hearn, digital printing coordinator, both received their awards for 10 years’ service.

Nigel Bond concluded, ‘43% of our employees have worked for Domino for more than 10 years. People are a company’s greatest asset and we believe that we have such high levels of staff retention because we recognise achievement, reward performance, and provide training, support and encouragement for them to progress within the business.’
