A recent investment in a Dantex PicoColour UV inkjet digital press with corona treatment unit has seen Cresta Labels strengthen its print capability.
Nottinghamshire-based Cresta has been providing flexible labelling solutions across a wide range of industries for over 40 years. The installation, completed in early March, complements the company’s existing digital offering, as well as flexo, hot foil and thermal transfer.
Managing director Peter Lloyd said, ‘We spent 18 months researching the next step in our continued investment in digital technology. The PicoColour press offers a more robust solution to our current setup and has the ability to print and convert labels in one pass, thereby saving time in dealing with re-registration issues and material.
‘The corona treatment unit was also a must for printing on a variety of substrates, and with the flexibility of the PicoColour to add variable data and white, all future possible requirements are covered.’
Richard Lloyd, sales and marketing director, added, ‘Dantex Group’s industry expertise in both repro and digital gave us a massive amount of confidence and through the installation process their support and knowledge have been excellent. I can genuinely say this press is a game-changer for us. With the quality and label finish achieved, we are very excited about the future opportunities it brings.’
