Christian Traumann returns to head up the international packaging show
Managing director and group CFO of Multivac Sepp Haggenmüller, Christian Traumann has been appointed as the president of interpack 2020.
Mr Traumann has been the chairman of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association within the German Engeneering Federation (VDMA) since 2015. He previously served as president of interpack in 2011. Acting as vice-presidents will be Markus Rustler, managing partner at Theegarten-Pactec, and Roland Strassburger, CEO of Schütz. All candidates were elected unanimously.
Interpack is held every three years and will run at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 7-13 May 2020 alongside the supplies trade fair Components, which is situated at a central location within the exhibition centre.
Registrations for both trade fairs have already started and will continue until late February 2019.
