Steve Waterhouse, Diecut Global, with Stewart Bell, New Solution

European digital printer manufacturer New Solution has appointed Diecut Global as an official dealer for its Multi printer aimed at the corrugated, retail and packaging markets.

The high-speed printer can print onto a wide range of medias including corrugated material, board and card at speeds of up to 300mm per second. It has a maximum print width of 1066mm and resolution of 1600 x 1600dpi with environmentally friendly, dye-based inks.

‘The demand for personalisation, versioning, branding and short run printed packaging is rapidly increasing and therefore the ability to print directly onto boxes is becoming more important,’ said Stewart Bell, vice president sales UK, Ireland and North America for New Solution. ‘Packaging and box suppliers must offer extra services to keep up with growing global competition and so by offering short run digitally printed packaging they can address this new market. As Diecut is well established in this marketplace, we felt the fit was right and are delighted to welcome them on board at such an exciting time in our industry.’

Steve Waterhouse, managing director Diecut Global, said, ‘By using this printer to complement their existing machines, our customers can offer digital services alongside their more traditional print methods. To be appointed at this stage is a testament to our standing in the market and we’re excited about showing our customers this new digital printer.’
