Global Packaging Group All4Labels has installed the newly announced HP Indigo DFE (Digital Front End): HP Production Pro for Indigo Labels & Packaging.
Installed to support the production of all applications, with a focus on short runs and VDP jobs, the company is able to increase the HP Indigo press utilisation via faster job processing RIP, optimise its fleet management via a single point of control, and connectivity of the site to automation tools, such as Esko Automation Engine and HP PrintOS.

When searching for a new DFE, we considered market trends, such as the increase in complex VDP jobs, SKU proliferation and short-term orders to name a few.’
The company installed the DFE in April this year and according to Mr Koch, it has already seen benefits including significantly faster RIP time, better connectivity with HP modules, less server-management and a smoother workflow integration.
