In cooperation with ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions, Primera now offers new colour management software for its CX1200e Digital Printing and FX1200e Finishing System.
Productionserver is modular and scalable RIP, workflow and colour management software. Version 10 features increased RIP speed through parallel tasks processing, excellent colour management and fast profiling, optimal colour replication and consistent reproduction. Another highlight is the Ink Saver technology, which promises to reduce toner costs by up to 30% without any visual losses in quality. This uses device link profiles to optimise colour composition and reducing the amount of CMY ink in the image by replacing these with black.

The software package includes other features for job, colour, workflow and output management, such as nesting, automatic or manual (spot) colour replacement and 2D or 3D viewing capability of the colour gamut that the system can achieve.
