First seen at Labelexpo Americas last September, Afinia Label has introduced the L301 Colour Label Printer to the market.

The compact full-colour inkjet printer is based on an HP thermal inkjet printing platform and prints labels up to 152 mm wide (or up to 216 mm wide, with an optional unwinder) in a resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. It is designed to address the needs of smaller businesses requiring professional looking labels in lower volumes.

Nathan Daniel, EMEA sales manager, said, ‘Bringing professional label printing in house with the L301 allows brand owners the flexibility they need to grow. Instead of ordering high minimum quantities of labels from a third party, they can now print the labels they need, when they need them. The L301 also opens the door to seasonal product labelling, and private labelling on behalf of their customers.’
