The Digital Series press has been installed at Arti-Bau’s plant in Ślęza, south-west of Warsaw, near the Czech border
The first Mark Andy Digital Series hybrid press in Europe has been installed at Arti-Bau, in Poland, to extend the company’s capacity for short run, fast delivery of labels, tickets and tags.
Founded in 2009 as an advertising and overseas employment agency, Arti-Bau specialises in the production of four colour digital labels, which it sells into the domestic Polish market and exports to Germany and other EU countries.
‘We wanted to be able to offer more than CMYK and the Mark Andy Digital Series will allow us to add value with cold foil and lamination, as well as producing multi-layer peel-off labels, for which there is high demand among our customers,’ said production director Jarosław Lewandowski.
The company’s new Digital Series comprises a 330 mm web width press with CMYK+W and two flexo stations. Options include a web turnbar, laminator, cold foil and a Compact Parallel Web Translator for multi-layer structures.
‘We are delighted to have secured the first Digital Series sale in Europe and anticipate a high level of demand for this flexible and highly productive technology,’ said Tom Cavalco, Mark Andy European sales director.
