A conference from a previous year.
The Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London at Olympia on 14 & 15 September 2016 will offer content-rich seminars, interactive features and debates, and advice from some of the world’s biggest brands.
New for 2016, the Dieline Conference will deliver a series of sessions from both leading and emerging brands, as well as packaging suppliers and design agencies, to discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise when designing a brand. There will also be a gallery of The Dieline Awards’ winners, showcasing the best package design from across the globe, and a selection of the award winners will be invited to present case studies.
Three seminar theatres will run throughout the two days, including an opening keynote presentation from Mark Pawsey, MP and chair of the All Party Parliamentary Packaging Group, and names such as Harrods and Britvic.
Stefan Casey, business innovation manager at the Retail Institute, will be chairing the interactive Great Innovation Debate, which will offer an open format to discuss ‘What is innovation?’. Prior to the debate people can scribble their ideas and brainstorm what they think ‘innovation’ really is, where it can be found, and how it can be driven on the Innovation Wall.
The Drinks Symposium will focus on the consumer facing aspects of drinks packaging, with representatives from Bacardi International and Daemon & Genius on hand to lend their expertise.
Experts from the Beauty Symposium will share their knowledge on innovative packaging, and the Starpack Industry Awards scheme, which recognises innovation in packaging design and technology, will be taking place on both days.
Visitors can also get one to one personalised advice on any aspect of their packaging from expert professionals at the Packaging Consultancy Clinic. Plus, 170 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in luxury, branded and inspirational packaging. Finally, there will be a drinks reception for all those visiting the show, held on day one.
