Nilpeter has appointed Gernot Schneider as digital product manager. With more than 20 years’ experience in the digital printing industry, his role will be to support the Nilpeter customer base with his extensive technical knowledge of the Panorama product line.
‘Gernot’s in depth inkjet knowledge and technological curiosity will be extremely beneficial to the Nilpeter digital team,’ said general manager, digital products Søren Ringbo.
Mr Schneider has previously held management positions at Screen Europe, HP Indigo and consultancy company ARTC. He said, ‘I firmly believe that the key to success is reliability and top quality – and I find that Nilpeter has the best product offering in inkjet and its conventional combinations – backed up by the most solid market knowhow. As Nilpeter does, I also believe that abstaining from making things overcomplicated is the way forward.
He continued, ‘The converters I come across, express their need for reliable workhorses with impeccable printing quality, and that’s were Panorama comes into the picture. Our aim is to be provide the optimum consultancy by listening to the customers and thereby come up with the perfect solution in each specific case.’
Mr Schneider took up his new position on May 10 and is based in Brussels.
