INX Digital Czech welcomed more than 100 customers and guests to the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility in Prague on 8 September.

The 43,000 square-foot building was constructed to serve and support digital customers in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and it is the third new manufacturing complex that the company has opened in the last 17 months, with two in Europe and one in North America.

The Prague facility incorporates offices, production and warehouse areas, two laboratories for research & development and quality control, and a number of service rooms. It is already producing a number of digital product lines including various solvent and water-based, and UV curing inks.

‘This new facility is testimony to the growth of our business and the further expansion of our global market share,’ said Paolo Capano, EMEA director of sales for INX Digital Italy, who oversees the European, Middle East and Asian regions. ‘We have invested capital resources to extend our local manufacturing facilities to better serve our customers. Our research & development capabilities, coupled with higher production volumes, will assure customers that we will exceed their expectations while delivering first class products for them.’

Avi Bukai, managing director for INX Digital said, ‘We could see that many people were delighted to see this modern facility. Our production lines are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment for all of our products, including alternative and OEM inks and we now have a greater colour universe to work from, in addition to greater production up time and the reduction of waste. In addition, the increased warehouse space provides us with greater capacity to produce more product for our customer base, and I expect our research & development capabilities will allow us to satisfy more customer requests.’
