The Graphium digital UV inkjet label press, developed and manufactured by FFEI, is now available for demonstrations at Fujifilm’s Bedford showroom.
James Whitehead, product manager Fujifilm Graphic Systems UK, commented, ‘The Graphium is a great addition to the production portfolio in our Bedford showroom as it allows printers and converters to understand the wide range of label applications that can be printed digitally, and discover the new business opportunities that this technology can bring. We’re committed to promoting the adoption of digital inkjet technologies for the production of labels, packaging and speciality print, and the addition of the Graphium to our showroom allows interested parties to see the press in action.’
The Graphium has been developed for label, packaging and speciality print businesses that want to increase their margins and revenue streams on short to medium print runs. It is a modular digital UV inkjet press that allows printers to incorporate in line flexo print and finishing and undertake complex projects requiring a wide gamut of colours on most commonly used substrates. The press uses Fujifilm’s Uvijet Graphium ink, developed specifically for label and packaging applications, which guarantees outstanding performance.
