Products labels printed using the FX400e
At the London Wine Fair 2-4 June 2014, at the ExCeL London, Primera Technology Europe will be presenting its FX400e Foil Imprinter, an optional accessory to the company’s LX-Series Colour Label Printers.
The FX400e unit applies shiny gold and silver borders, fonts and other graphics to inkjet or laser printed labels.
Wine labels can benefit from shiny metallic borders and graphics to convey luxury and elegance and help to emphasize the high quality and value of each product.
Other colours such as red, blue, green and yellow as well as clear film are available. When added onto inkjet printed labels, the clear film not only adds a glossy finish but also gives the labels more protection. Additionally, the clear film adds UV resistance to printed output, allowing longer exposure to natural and artificial light sources.
Besides showing the FX400e Foil Imprinter Primera will test launch its Touch’n’Print solution, a new all-in-one print solution that makes it easy to design and print labels.
The Touch’n’Print solution is aimed at small businesses, which do not have a separate marketing and IT department and can not afford to use design agencies. With the solution labels can be printed in three steps.
1. Select a pre-designed label layout
2. Add additional content (e.g. best before date, weight/volume, charge number etc.) and graphics (e.g. barcodes, specific food/drink icons such as the Vegan Flower, Fair Trade etc.)
3. Press print
