Primera Technology Europe has started its third label contest, however it is the first to take place only on Facebook and has a winter theme.
‘The result of the first online label contest during Labelexpo was an exciting feedback for us and our customers about the labels which were produced with the CX/FX1200e. Now we also want this feedback for our short-run label printers and finisher,’ said director, Andreas Hoffmann.
The label contest takes place from the 1 November to 13 December 2013. Customers can enter by e-mail with a picture of their labelled product to Primera (contest@primera.eu).
The label has to have ‘Christmassy’ or ‘wintery’ elements and has to be produced by the LX-Series or finished with the FX400e. Each participant can send a maximum of three labels.
The company will post an album with all the entries on Facebook. Then fans may ‘like’ their favourite label during the activity period. The participant with the most ‘likes’ wins an Apple iPad mini with runners up receiving Primera calendars and a standard label roll for the LX-Series.
With the LX-Series, it is possible to create tailor made labels for a group of customers or special occasion, such as Christmas. This can increase customer loyalty and make it possible to provide for special occasions.
The FX400e Foil Imprinting System makes it possible to finish labels with foils in different colours and to produce festive labels for the Christmas season. With the available metallic colours shining decorations can be added on to labels to make products stand out whilst adding a touch of elegance and luxury.
