Under the heading ‘Breakthrough innovation in digital labels and packaging’, the first Digital Labels & Packaging seminar is set for 14 November and will be held at the Hilton Puckrup Hall, in Tewkesbury. The half day seminar will include presentations from Waitrose, Unilever and design groups involved in developing successful brands.

Embracing the power of digital in future innovation activities will be a theme running through the seminar. Publisher Marie Rushton organising the seminar said, ‘Our aim is to bring the potential of digital to the top of the agenda in brand innovation, and this seminar will highlight what is influencing the decision to use the technology.’

Trevor Smith, managing director at Amberley Labels, explained why he would be attending, ‘Our recent experience with Coca-Cola has taken our digital activity to a new level and we see this event as an opportunity to hear about future directions in this area.’
