The LX900e colour label printer with the new ACS-216e Auto Cutter System has been launched by Primera, making it the company’s newest, fastest and most economical to operate colour label printer

Printed labels can include photos, graphics, illustrations and text as well as high resolution linear or two dimensional bar codes. It uses the latest high-resolution inkjet technology to print colourful labels for products, boxes and packaging. And has individual ink tanks for each colour let you replace only the colour that need replacing. 

The machine incorporates inkjet technology, Primera Imaging Perfection, which delivers razor-sharp text, graphics and photo realistic printing possible. Colour droplet size is just 4 pL and black is 5.5 pL, the smallest available on an industrial grade colour label printer, and has a print resolution up to 4800 dpi. 

The LX900e can produce full colour labels at up to 4.5″ per second in draft mode and several can be run from one PC. 

The ACS-216e can be used for printing name badges, labels and tickets. Compared to integrated cutters which are more designed to cut thin paper for coupon dispensing, this external cutter features a heavy duty, durable rotary cutter which can cut through label stock, heavy papers and plastics up to 216 mm width, allowing the on demand production of tickets, shelf edge inserts, tags, ID cards and much more, printed in stunning 4800 dpi on matte or high gloss photo quality substrate.
