The Glossop Cartons stand at Packaging Innovations at the NEC Birmingham, in February 2013
At this year’s Packaging Innovations show on 1-2 October at the Business Design Centre, London, Glossop Cartons will be showcasing its range of cartonboard packaging solutions.
The company will be focusing on the Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine. This is the first and only such system in the UK that can offer faster speeds to market, greater flexibility and cost savings on shorter runs.
It will also be showcasing its new Digital Printing System (DPS) machine, which uses six ink colours, including white and clear ink, and can apply these in a single pass to produce a high-gloss finish. Printing 20 msq/per hour, the system is ideal for the short runs required in making accurate prototypes for potential customers.
‘We’re delighted to be bringing back our Packaging Superheroes to Packaging Innovations,’ commented, director, Jacky Sidebottom. ‘This time, with the Euclid machine fully installed and up-and-running, Glossop Cartons will be packing quite a punch and I’m excited to be flying the flag for speed, efficiency and creativity.’
The company will be on hand to demonstrate a wide range of products manufactured to provide customers with stand-out packaging solutions that can set them apart from the competition. Visitors can learn more about the innovative, cost-effective and efficient packaging solutions it offers utilising the very best in modern technology.
Ms Sidebottom added, ‘These new solutions are the latest examples of our focus and drive to be at the forefront of the packaging industry, and we are delighted to showcase them at Packaging Innovations. Glossop Cartons invests heavily in innovation and we are committed to providing bespoke design and unrivalled support for our customers, enabling us to be a manufacturer at the forefront of the packaging industry in terms of quality, value and service.’
