New CUPS drivers to enable customers to print labels from Linux and Mac OS X systems from its printers has been launched by Sato.

As a result of extending the compatibility to include these two operating systems, users can benefit from greater flexibility and integrate printing seamlessly into their computing system.

Developed in response to the requirements of the rapidly growing Linux and Mac communities in industries from transport and logistics to warehousing, manufacturing, retail and healthcare. These drivers are currently available for the GZ4e, CL6e, CG2/CG4 and M84Pro series printer models.

‘At SATO we are dedicated to making it as easy as possible for our customers to use our equipment,’ said Ikuo Dobashi, chairman. ‘The development of the Mac and Linux driver is another example of how we continue to expand our compatibility to meet the evolving needs of our customers.’
