The production model of the Xanté Excelagraphix 4200 high-speed wide format inkjet print system will be available this spring
Shown as a concept at the 2011 Graph Expo it received ‘Best in Category for Wide Format-Pressroom’ and earned the coveted ‘Must See ‘Em’ award during the 2012 Graph Expo.
The machine is designed to meet the growing demand in the packaging marketby enabling users to print variable data on a variety of media including heavy corrugated and foam board, up to 9.5 mm thick, and on oversized sheets up to 1067 mm wide by 15 metres long.
It features Memjet Waterfall Printhead Technology that delivers blazing print speeds up to 305 mm per second. The machine is driven by the iQueue Prepress Ultimate Workflow that easily handles complex digital files, makes critical colour adjustments, applies custom imposition and estimates job cost.
