French magazine Etiq & Pack has presented Stork Prints with an award for digital label printing in the wine & spirits category at its annual digital label competition.
The awarsd are held at the Richelieu hotel in Paris and the jury praised Stork Prints’ digitally printed wine labels for their photographic quality, digital white and versioning possibilities. The competition is part of the annual event, The Digital Label Forum, which is organised by the French magazine for labels and packaging, Etiq & Pack.
The company has in the digital printing industry for over 25 years with more than 4000 inkjet systems installed worldwide. Its DSI UV inkjet label printer is the modular concept for short and medium run digital label printing. The DSI is a cost effective UV inkjet label printer, offering high printing quality at quick speeds. Its combination of photographic quality and a rotary screen ‘look and feel’ makes it suitable short medium and long run jobs.
Mark Huisman, sales manager, said, ‘Volume wise, the DSI offers an increasingly attractive alternative to flexo and other printing technologies. The economies of scale are clearly visible for smaller, straightforward jobs. However, it also makes sense to use the DSI for more complex and higher volume jobs. Winning this award is another very positive sign for us, meaning that more and more printers are finding their way to Stork Prints UV inkjet printing and are embracing our DSI platform.’
