Octapharma provides blood clotting and critical care products, employing some 670 staff and it is using inkjet to conform with the uniform marking requirements that are increasingly being demanded to help reduce the impacts of counterfeit products which can be catastrophic for patients.
Octapharma has some 50 diverse carton formats and it marks up to 10,000 daily in a single shift. Slightly curved surfaces can be printed successfully with a maximum print gap of 7mm.
