The company has helped a number of small brands move from labels to flexible packaging
Florida-based S-One Labels & Packaging has reached an agreement with Charter NEX Films to sell its flexible packaging barrier/sealant films in North America.
The films complement its existing portfolio of flexible packaging print films by offering the option of a food-grade sealant film laminated to a polyester or polypropylene film to make the final flexible package structure.
S-OneLP provides offline, inline and custom primers as well as over-print varnishes and custom coatings from manufacturers such as Michelman and Utopia Digital Technologies. At Labelexpo Americas, it showed how moving to filmic substrates can improve the design of packaging for small brands.
‘Charter NEX is a critical partner as S-OneLP continues to address our customers’ challenges of delivering customised packaging with shorter runs and tighter turnaround times,’ said vice president Ralph Giammarco. ‘With more than 20 years of digital printing experience and our existing HP Indigo client base, we are primed with Charter NEX’s partnership, to help our label printing customers launch into the quickly expanding flexible packaging world.’
