Sun Chemical has appointed Myron Petruch as its president and chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2019.
Mr Petruch assumes leadership after serving as president of the company’s Performance Pigments division. He was also the general manager of the same division since 2008. In 2017, Mr Petruch was named an executive officer of DIC Corporation, Sun Chemical’s parent company. He succeeds Rudi Lenz who will transition to the new role of vice chairman of the board. In this role, Mr Lenz will advise the business on key strategies and issues as they arise.
