Print finishing manufacturer AB Graphic International has launched the ILC760, a new inline coating solution for the HP Indigo 20000 digital press.
Supporting both water-based and UV coating, the ILC760 is described as a cost-effective and easy-to-operate, top coating solution with slitting-rewinding, suitable for production of unsupported film applications such as sleeves, in-mould labels, wraparound labels and various flexible packaging top-coated applications.
The 760mm wide coater joins the Digicon 3000 in the manufacturer’s growing finishing portfolio for mid-web digital production.
‘The demand for digitally printed packaging is growing well beyond the pressure sensitive label market into areas such as sleeves, IML and various flexible packaging applications,’ said Tony Bell, sales director. ‘ABG is pleased to continue collaborating with HP Indigo to redefine the boundaries of digital production by offering cost-effective innovations for simplified and efficient production.’
The ILC760 will make its debut at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago, 25-27 September, where it will be operating inline with the HP Indigo 20000.
