Omet will be opening the doors to its new Drome in Molteno, Lecco, Italy, for an open house running over two days, focusing on the opportunities offered by hybrid printing technology in the label market.
Taking place on 24 and 25 January, the event will provide guests with the chance to see the hybrid printing performances of the Omex XJet powered by Durst printing press. The XJet is a hybrid solution combining Omet flexo quality and Durst digital inkjet printing technology, which was first introduced in early 2018.
Other opportunities will include a live demonstration on the iFLEX flexo press, set up in a hybrid curing configuration with UV and UV LED, tours of the Omet plant and talks about the future of print from leading figures in the industry.
Ritrama’s Sergio Veneziani will expand on linerless labels, digital printing will be discussed by Martin Leitner of Durst and Francesco Niorettini from Italgrafica Sistemi will give his personal testimony as the first Italian XJet user.
