Maritime Labels & Packaging, which is based in Nova Scotia, in Canada, has invested in a GM330FB hot foil and screen converting line. The machine will be adding embellishments, such as foiling, embossing and screen-printing to labels printed on the company’s recently installed HP Indigo 6900 digital press.

The Canadian label printing company chose the 330FB from GM due to its configuration as a near-line embellishment solution. It will allow Maritime Labels & Packaging to keep its leading position in the region as a supplier of premium quality labels for craft beer, wine, spirits, cider, spices, juices and nutraceutical brands.

The company is the pioneer of digital label printing in Atlantic Canada, bringing direct-to-press label printing and its many benefits to local, national and international companies since 2003.
