LasX Europe has appointed Immanuel Ilapogu as application engineer, furthering its commitment to customer service in European markets.
He is the company’s first application engineer dedicated to serving customers in Europe. He joins from Sacher Lasertechnik, where he served in a similarly titled role.
Mr Ilapogu joins Dave Birch, business development manager, in building international brand recognition for LasX and its technologies.
Founded in 1998, LasX Industries designs and manufactures high power, high-speed industrial laser systems for the flexible packaging, digital print and precision converting industries. Its systems allow cutting, scoring, perforating, marking and other applications. LasX’s patented LaserSharp technology and LightGuide software can be integrated into new and existing workflows to create highly automated modular laser systems that meet specific customer requirements. LasX also specialises in servicing customers looking to outsource their manufacturing through an ISO certified contract-manufacturing operation. LasX Industries serves the international manufacturing sector through its offices in the US and Germany, LasX Europe.
In collaboration with Mr Birch, Mr Ilapogu’s main mission is to provide a seamless customer experience from sales to installation to post-installation support, ensuring LasX’s laser processing systems are fully optimised for European customers.
‘I am excited to start this new endeavour and bring my hands-on experience with providing technical support and solutions to customers in the laser manufacturing world,’ said Mr Ilapogu.
Mr Birch added, ‘In Immanuel, we have found a real asset for LasX Europe. I look forward to growing LasX Europe with Immanuel’s expertise and sharing my years of industry knowledge with him.’
