Esko has released Share & Approve, new software which runs as a service on Esko cloud architecture.
The approval tool enables users of Automation Engine to upload, share, annotate and approve packaging and labels jobs in both 2D and 3D. It has been designed to allow users to realistically visualise their pack in 2D and 3D and annotate the file with feedback in a single, centralised online tool.
‘We are very happy to see approval loops finishing in a maximum of eight or nine days instead of a few weeks, which is typical of what happens in the industry today,’ explained product manager Karsten Daemen.
‘We have also observed the number of job revisions decreasing from eight or nine to three or four with use of the software. With the speed and complexity of packaging management today, Share & Approve is going to make a tangible difference to our customers seeking to increase their speed to market.’
