DataLase has expanded its global reach with the appointment of a new South Africa-based distributor, Packtronic.
Packtronic, based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, will now distribute DataLase’s Case Coding Solution across South Africa and throughout the African continent.
The solution is a method of applying variable information onto corrugated boxes, including shipping information, barcodes, date and lot codes and sequential batch numbers.
‘Packtronic has been providing coding and marking solutions to the industry for over 25 years, and is perfectly placed to support the continued introduction of our applications across Africa,’ said DataLase’s export and distributor sales manager Jason Hamlin. ‘We are thrilled to have them on board as a distributor and are looking forward to both businesses’ continued success.’
Johan Callitz, managing director of Packtronic, added: ‘We are delighted to add DataLase to our growing product portfolio and make this innovative system available to our customers across Africa. DataLase is of great interest in South Africa, the connections and enquiries we already have make this a very exciting opportunity with great potential.’
