Screen has unveiled a new inkjet press, the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI, at Labelexpo in Brussels.
The press comes with improved colour reproduction, colour expression, scalability and print quality. The standard model will be released in early 2020, with the flagship version, an entry-level option and a food packaging label variety set to follow.
The Truepress Jet L350UV SAI – reflecting the claimed ‘stability’, ‘accuracy’ and ‘integrated’ technologies of the press – is configured with additional slots for mounting inkjet printheads. This means, along with CMYK, the press can be loaded with white, orange and blue inks.
In order to make the best possible use of the extended color space and the ink sets, Screen relies on the color management know-how of CGS. The new press has been equipped with a specially developed technology based on the core concept of the latest, fully automated colour management software ORIS X Gamut.
