Zanders Paper has welcomed six new apprentices, with two new employees each learning the professions of paper technologist, mechatronics engineer, and machine and plant operator at the company’s Gohrsmühle paper mill.
The apprentices welcomed are Onur Yilmaz and Norbert Mueller as paper technologists, Olegs Snikers and Daniel Nadrop as mechatronics technicians, and Nazem Hassan and Patrick Pascoa as machine and plant operators.
This is the second time Zanders Paper has offered training as a machine and plant operator. Thomas Döring, head of HR at Zanders Paper, said, ‘With the new training, we were able to arouse the interest of young people, for whom a job at a paper producer was previously out of the question. In addition to the industry-specific paper technologist, with the mechatronics engineer and the machine and plant operator, we now offer two further trainings that open up new perspectives for young people.’
