Siegwerk has named Belal Habib as the global head of its new Brand Owner Collaboration (BCO) department.
BOC is a new department established to connect the packaging supply chain and, ‘explore improvement and innovation opportunities with brand owners.’ By creating a triangular relationship with converters and brand owners, Siegwerk identified an opportunity to better understand the market needs and to identify relevant topics enabling the company to shape the future of packaging by channeling its R&D activities into the market segments of the future.
Mr Habib has joined Siegwerk after a career spanning more than two decades in the packaging industry. This has included tenures with Unilever, Cadbury, Mondelēz International, pladis Global and, more recently as an independent consultant.
