Ultimate Digital has named Charlotte Thorpe as its new business development and marketing executive.
Ms Thorpe has joined the UK’s largest independently owned flexible packaging manufacturer, which operates a dedicated division to supply digital print to major UK retailers, packers and global brands.
She brings nearly 10 years of business development and marketing experience to the role, having previously worked in the media, marketing and print industries. Her role includes overseeing the marketing for Ultimate Digital as well as Sharp Iris, another division of Ultimate Group that designs, builds and delivers creative digital packaging and marketing strategies.
Ms Thorpe joins the company alongside Laura Ingoldby, who was appointed to the role of customer service executive in October as part of a coordinated growth strategy. The company’s enhanced business development team is led by Ultimate’s long-time packaging and sales expert Rachel Read, who has taken on the role of business development manager.
Ms Thorpe said, ‘Ultimate Digital is one of the most innovative businesses in its sector and I’m fortunate enough to be joining the team at such an exciting time in the industry.’
She is working closely with Ultimate Group executive director Chris Tonge, who said, ‘Good people make great companies and so I was delighted when Charlotte decided to complete the Ultimate Digital team. I know she will breathe new life into our marketing and social media strategy.’
