Michael Ciaramella has joined Highcon as its new vice president, sales and general manager, Americas.
Mr Ciaramella’s professional experience includes tenures with Scitex, Creo, Kodak, Microsoft, HP and Agfa.
Effective 2 December, he is leading a team of sales professionals and partners to expand Highcon’s business throughout the Americas.
Highcon CEO Shlomo Nimrodi described the Americas as, ‘an important territory for Highcon’, and said, ‘Our recent sales have demonstrated that the market has recognised the benefits of digital cutting and creasing in reducing inefficiencies in the supply chain in both the folding carton and corrugated marketplace.’
Mr Nimrodi continued, ‘His experience in building and running sales teams for a diverse range of leading companies including Microsoft, HP, Scitex, Kodak and lately Agfa, will help us promote and accelerate the penetration of the Highcon technology in the Americas.’
Mr Ciaramella has already been visiting Highcon’s existing customers as well as prospects in the territory.
