UK-based Midland Regional Printers (MRP) has promoted Matt Seaford to the role of sales development director.

Mr Seaford joined MRP in a trainee sales role and throughout his 14 years with the company has focused on identifying new markets and opportunities, with promoting digital printing being a large part of his success. His roles at MRP have included sales executive, business development manager and sales manager. The company noted that during his time MRP, he has heavily focused on promoting digitally printed packaging, cartons and labels with just-in-time capability.

Mr Seaford commented, ‘I’m honoured to be joining the board and it’s an exciting time at MRP. We have a great team and are an innovative company, where we’ve listened to our customers and responded with investment in a new digital label press arriving within weeks, with further investments in new digital machinery later this year too. We are offering more services to more markets and I’m ambitious to grow MRP.’

He continued, ‘Our customers don’t want a large proportion of their revenue tied up with packaging sat on a shelf, with the risk of regulation changes making the packaging redundant and uncertainty to some British industries. Digital printed packaging has allowed us to print on demand and make weekly deliveries, freeing up our customers cash flow and cutting waste, as everything ordered is being used on that week’s manufacturing run.’
