Asher Levy has been appointed as active chairman at Landa Digital Printing.
Mr Levy comes to Landa after almost three decades at Orbotech, which he joined in 1990, serving in various managerial positions until 2013 when he was named CEO. Orbotech is a technology company used in the manufacturing of consumer and industrial products throughout the electronics and adjacent industries
Landa Digital Printing started as a spin-out of Landa Labs a decade. It now employs some 600 people and is the largest of Landa Group’s 18 companies. The digital printing business has described itself as being in an accelerating growth phase’ as it ramps up delivery of its Nanographic Printing presses. These were debuted at drupa 2012 and are now installed at converters worldwide. Principally sheet-fed commercial presses, some are being used for packaging and web-fed machines are rumoured to be close to launching.

Yishai Amir, who has been Landa Digital Printing’s CEO for the past four years, has stepped down. Mr Amir said, ‘During that time, it has transitioned from being a company with great technology to a company with great products. I am very proud of having been part of that transformation. I have decided that now is the best time for me to proceed to my next challenges and to make way for a successor at the company.’

Arik Gordon has now been confirmed as the new CEO at Landa Digital Printing.
