Sihl has had its Picofilm O-60 white XM1 label facestock certified to BS5609 section 3 when printed on HP PageWide presses.
Specifically for water-based inkjet printing, Picofilm O-60 white XM1 is a BOPP film offering quick drying of printed inks together with defined contours and excellent colour brilliance.
This latest award marks the seventh certification for this facestock, and confirms its certification as resistant to seawater.
Sihl noted that within the framework of GHS standards for classification and labelling of chemicals, Picofilm O-60 white XM1 is ‘ideally suited’ for the labelling of hazardous goods transported by sea, with high resistance to abrasion and water.
