Italy-based finishing equipment manufacturer Cartes has given responsibility for its business in Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Paraguay to Davis Graphics, its existing exclusive representative for Chile.
Virgilio Micale, sales director at Cartes, said, ‘We recognise the importance of the South American market. This expansion allows us to get closer to customers and also guarantee local support and service without the time zone difficulties.’
Cartes president Mario Lodi said, ‘By reconfirming Davis Graphics as a strategic partner for the South American market, together we’ll be able to provide a better service, with spare parts and technical support to all our clients.’
Mr Micale continued, ‘We want to support our clients by thoroughly analysing their needs, also proposing solutions that provide improvements in their processes and allow production costs to be optimised.’
Felipe Arias, general director at Davis Graphics commented, ‘By extending our service to other countries in the region we’re reconfirming the commitment that has always characterised us, also reaffirming our will to continue to invest supporting our clients.
‘We welcome the new customers, offering our immediate availability to address their needs.’
