Ford Bowers has been named as president and CEO of the new-look industry association created by the merger of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and Printing Industries of America (PIA).
SGIA and PIA are merging to create the ‘largest, most comprehensive’ printing and graphic arts association in the US.
Mr Bowers, SGIA president and CEO, is joined by Michael Making, current PIA president and CEO, who becomes an executive vice president of the unified organisation, effective 1 May, 2020.
The new association’s name has been confirmed as Printing United Alliance, with the full board of directors now confirmed.
