Italy-based finishing specialist Cartes has named Weldon Celloplast as its agent for India and the subcontinent.
Weldon Celloplast, based out of New Delhi, represents a number of globally renowned manufacturers of printing equipment, tooling, inspection and waste management systems from the label industry, as well as offering tamper evident security label materials.
Cartes offers a range of technical finishing options for the roll label market, with equipment sold to 90 countries worldwide with more than 4000 machines installed. Its machines offer hot stamping, screen printing, flexo printing/varnishing, flatbed die-cutting, semi-rotary die-cutting, embossing units, and laser technology for die-cutting and converting.
Kanwardeep Sahni, managing director at Weldon Celloplast, said, ‘Cartes offers extremely advanced converting equipment, and specially their patented laser die-cutting systems fit well into the technically evolving field of label converting where no tooling or dies are required.
