Omet has reached an agreement with Fornietic and LirmaPrint for those two companies to distribute OMET XJet, powered by Durst, throughout Italy.
OMET XJet combines Durst inkjet technology with Omet flexo units, plus finishing and converting units to obtain the final product in a single pass.
Piedmont-baed LirmaPrint was already the exclusive Italian distributor of Durst’s digital printing machines for the label and packaging industry. Fornietic, located in neighbouring Lombardy, is one of Italy’s leading suppliers of equipment and material for the printing industry.
Both companies will now able to offer solutions that combine the inkjet quality of Durst combined with the efficiency of the the OMET X6. Custom demonstrations and tests will be carried out at the Omet Drome in Lecco.
