Inkjet digital printing specialist Mouvent has promoted Erik van Sloten to the position of head of sales, labels.
Mr van Sloten joined Mouvent last year after almost two decades at HP, in various roles supporting the Indigo digital label printing business. He was promoted to his new role in February.
Mouvent is Bobst’s joint venture business that has extended the company’s capabilities into inkjet digital printing. It was launched in 2017 as a joint venture with Radex, and has now progressed from start-up status to ‘scale up’, according to Mr van Sloten. To provide greater focus in light of this transition, the company has separated its two current business areas, with Michele Riva handling sales in textiles and Mr van Sloten responsible for the company’s efforts in digital label printing.
As well as its contribution to Bobst’s entry into hybrid label printing with Master DM5, Mouvent continues to develop its standalone inkjet technologies, including UV inkjet digital label printing presses and water-based hardware, LB702-WB.
