Bobst has recruited Steve Lakin to strengthen its team in the UK and Ireland, and help support new opportunities in labels.
Mr Lakin has joined as sales manager for the label market in the UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for digital, flexo and all-in-one combination digital/flexo machines.
He said, ‘The UK label market is set for the next step in its evolution, and I believe Bobst, with its innovative products and excellent service solutions, is best positioned to help printers find the right technology for the future. I look forward to working closely with customers to understand their needs, support their long-term ambitions and find new opportunities in order to generate success for all.’
Mr Lakin brings around three decades of experience in labels and packaging printing and converting to the role, including having worked at Barco Graphics, HP Indigo and its predecessor business, Screen Europe, AVT and most recently, Konica Minolta.
