Fujifilm has launched Jet Press 750S High Speed, a new B2 inkjet press with output speeds of up to 5400 sheets per hour (sph).
Such a rated speed is claimed as the fastest in the industry by Fujifilm, with the High Speed model confirmed as operating at 1.5x the speed of the current Jet Press 750S, at 3600sph.
This new model retains all the features of the current Jet Press 750S for folding carton and commercial printing applications, as well as using advanced ultra-high-density and high-precision Samba printheads and aqueous pigment Vividia inks, said to equal if not better offset in terms of quality; and the ability to switch between high quality mode (3600sph) and high performance mode (5400sph) for ‘maximum flexibility’.
According to Fujifilm, the introduction of Jet Press 750S High Speed, ‘makes it possible to transfer a wider range of offset jobs to digital to reduce the total cost of ownership.’
Jet Press 750S High Speed is being showcased by Fujifilm as part of its presence at virtual.drupa, which runs until 23 April.
The new B2 inkjet digital press model is scheduled to be available as of Autumn this year. Onsite upgrades are available for new and current Jet Press 750S owners.
