Self-adhesive label specialists Scanket and Labelsupply have become the latest to join Optimum Group, taking the total number of member companies in the pan-European printing group to 14.
Optimum Group is a Northern European label printing group with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Germany with 14 member companies. The two latest acquisitions are the group’s seventh and eighth since 2018.
Scanket is a Denmark-based label printer, running an extensive machinery park that enables it to offer a wide range of labels and packaging. A fellow Danish label printer, Labelsupply serves customers in Denmark and Sweden with labelling options tailored for companies in the food and chemical industries. Specifically, Scanket and Labelsupply have become part of the group’s activities in the Nordics.
The addition of Scanket and Labelsupply fits well within the European growth ambitions of Optimum Group, and ‘significantly’ expands the Optimum Group’s presence in the Nordics. For their part, joining the group means Scanket and Labelsupply will be able to better serve their customers through increased capacity, a wider range of self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging options, and greater delivery reliability as part of an international printing group.
Lars Ole Nauta, who leads the group’s Nordic activities, said, ‘Both Scanket and Labelsupply have developed well in recent years, achieving significant growth based on a strong and dedicated team of employees and by investing in more capacity.’

The current management teams at Scanket and Labelsupply will remain in place within the group structure.
