Dantex Group is to install one of its PicoColour UV inkjet digital label presses at Florida-based Shrink Sleeves & Labels.
Operating out of Orlando, Shrink Sleeves & Labels has more than 43 years of experience providing pressure-sensitive labels and printed products for multiple industries. Utilising both digital and high-speed flexo presses with up to 10 colours, the company is using state-of-the-art equipment to offer its customers innovative and cost-effective label printing.
The high specification press headed to the print company, which is to be installed early in July, features white print station, corona treatment, VDP, laminator, die station and finishing.
Michael Bartolé, managing director at Shrink Sleeves & Labels, commented, ‘We opted for the PicoColour as it gives fantastic quality at a competitive price for a UV digital press.
‘We have lots of small jobs to which the PicoColour will be ideally suited. Plus it will help open up new markets for us, which will be key. We haven’t purchased from Dantex previously, but we are really impressed with what we have seen so far.’
Dantex has previously detailed successes with its Pico presses in the US and elsewhere, and which gained ‘significant momentum’ during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dantex Group CEO Ben Danon said, ‘We are delighted to be able to install one of our PicoColour presses at Shrink Sleeves & Labels. The Pico range continues to be held in high regard across the global marketplace, demonstrating that print businesses are eager to invest in our digital presses and benefit from the production efficiency and enhanced print quality that is available, and at an attractive price-point.’
