Enterprise Print Group has invested in a Mouvent LB702-UV inkjet digital press, as the US-based converter fully invests in the potential of digital.
Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, Enterprise Print Group was founded as Consolidated Products over 30 years ago. It produces durable labels for outdoor lawn and garden products, home appliances, medical devices, specialty retail and more.
Kirk Icuss, president and CEO at Enterprise Print Group, explained, ‘We are a service business and our mission is to make sure our customers have what they need, when they need it. To continue honouring that, we need the best possible digital equipment available.’
The Mouvent LB702-UV addresses 90% of all label jobs in a cost-effective manner up to an 8000 linear metre run length, delivering an output of up to 200,000sqm per month. It offers a printing speeds up to 100m/min, and delivers a 1200 x 1200dpi native resolution. A wide colour gamut is hit by the use of six UV inkjet colours plus white, with the option to include white ink to print with 70% opacity at up to 45m/min cited as an important factor in Enterprise Print Group’s investment decision.
Mr Icuss continued, ‘In the current market environment, it is vital that we have repeatability and reliability in our printing equipment, while also eliminating waste for our customers. Digital printing gives us the tools we need to keep our customers completely happy.’
To this end, Enterprise Print Group has also invested in a SEI Laser Labelmaster finishing line to provide digital finishing on demand.
‘We will continue to focus on our market and lead with service and innovation,’ said Mr Icuss. ‘We won’t stand still. We are exploring other opportunities and markets where high quality, high service levels, and low waste, are valued.’
