Matik has made four appointments in an effort to support growing customer demand for its products and services.
This has seen Bruce Gawlowicz joins as US Southeast region sales director for SEI Laser products, and Patrick Phillips serving a similar role in the Midwest. Gianpaolo Panzeri has also been recruited as director of technical support, with Sheri Bartucca joining the company in a business development capacity. Matik noted that these newest members of its sales, technical support and customer service teams have, ‘extensive application knowledge and industry experience to solve customers’ problems and help them be more successful.’
Matik president Steve Leibin said, ‘We are very excited to welcome these members of our sales and technical support teams, who together bring to Matik more than 100 years of experience and a wealth of broad knowledge to help solve customers’ applications needs. Our expansion in acrylic, technical textiles, woodworking, transdermal drug delivery and other markets makes these new roles essential to our continued success.’
Mr Gawlowicz and Mr Phillips have more than six decades of experience between them alone. With 30 years of industry experience, including machine vision, automation component and system experience, Mr Gawlowicz will share his knowledge with customers and strive increase overall customer satisfaction. Mr Phillips has more than 32 years of sales and operations experience. He is an expertly trained professional with broad experience in automated control systems. He will bring ‘exceptional’ customer relationship management and product knowledge to Matik.
Mr Panzeri has 26 years of wide-ranging experience, recently working for an automation company, and for Koenig & Bauer’s flexo division). He previously worked for Matik and Omet. He is experienced with electronics, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as lasers. A naturalised US citizen, Mr Panzeri is also fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and French.
Ms Bartucca adds a further 20-plus years of experience in customer service and management to Matik. She has a history of building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service. Her extensive experience includes business planning, operational excellence, financial acumen and exceptional problem-solving skills to deliver customer satisfaction.
With headquarters in West Hartford, Connecticut, and several regional sales offices in the US, Canada and Mexico, Matik is a distributor in North America of advanced European technologies for printing, packaging, converting and security applications.
