Antalis has introduced the new and improved version of UPM Raflatac’s RAFNXT+ to the UK.
RAFNXT+ is a line of high quality, self-adhesive sheets from UPM Raflatac, and is the world’s first label material to be verified by The Carbon Trust. The lower grammage backing paper of RAFNXT+, which is 3gsm lighter, is FSC certified. This allows Antalis to classify the whole range as FSC Mixed Credit. The face paper in the new range remains the same as previous Raflatac graphic products, so the high-quality printing performance is unaffected.
Verification by The Carbon Trust has been accomplished as a result of the product design’s smarter use and choice of natural resources, and the use of less raw materials, energy and water.
Antalis highlighted the importance of providing customers with sustainable and high-performance products, which continue to experience heightened demand in today’s environmentally-aware society. RAFNXT+ helps to mitigate climate change, drawing from responsibly managed forests and decreasing carbon emissions.
Ben Cahill, product manager at Antalis, commented, ‘We are pleased to be the exclusive self-adhesive sheet distributor for UPM Raflatac in the UK. The new RAFNXT+ range provides customers with a fully FSC certified product, which also has the advantage of being the world’s first label material to be verified by The Carbon Trust.’
